This means, in any case, that you may eventually invoke him for all kinds of desperate technical problems either with your primary Tcp-Ip connection, your Internet provider, with the Sea-Me-We3 (trans-ocean fiber optic telecommunication cable between Asia and Europe) or just to be referenced by Alta Vista. It's not a coincidence, after all, that Los Altos Technologies decided to call their Unix network protector program "Gabriel" (it guards against the other well known program Satan!) Even if Gabriel, one of the most famous Angels (at least among the five we know by names !) is the ruling saint of the Internet, as the W3, he is extremely mysterious and not very well know, in contrast with his battling collegue, the Archangel Michael (go to his Virtual Chapel).
