Sylvie Lander is one of the most promising painters in France. Her mystical world filled with the Scriptures and Angels raise her colors above the "earth levels". The Angels are not only Angels. One can find oneself through the mysterious lines and shapes: the Angels's wings are very close to the Rorschach ink-tests and, sometimes, there are two paintings in one, if we just take the time to let our eyes hovering above her colors. Jung would have loved her paintings.
Born in 1962, Sylvie Lander graduated from the Art Decoratifs School of Strasbourg, majoring in section "painting" in 1987, and since then her Angels have landed in exibitions all over Europe, not only in private galleries, but also in historical monuments like cathedrals and convents, the perfect places for her Angels to be discovered.
